We're heading back for another Blues/Fox exchange open to both Swedish and English dancers! We are excited to be able to announce another joint venture/adventure in Sweden... We have a full weekend of classes with Sara White, Mikael Lund and others, socialising, and lots and lots of dancing to look forward to. If you are looking to expand your dancing repertoire, want to make new friends and feel the need for a bit of adventure then you really need to join us for this fab weekend. (Swedish dancers - you'll be booking via Jivers and booking will open soon) The basic plan for the weekend is as follows: Friday night is Pizza night! And we'll follow this with a full night of fabulous social freestyle dancing until 1am. We'll be offering a short 'Introduction to Fox' class as an icebreaker and get to know each other session, nice and early in the evening. During the day on Saturday we have 3 exciting workshops for you Modern Blues - with Sara Fox - with Mikael and Karin Bluesy Fox - with Mikael and Sara Lunch and dinner will be provided, so we can keep your strength up! Then on Saturday evening we'll be dancing through till 2am! Sunday is a shorter day to ensure that everyone can get their flights but we'll still have time for another workshop with Sara, lunch and some fabulous farewell freestyle. Total cost for the event, to include all of the above SEK 1950 payable via Paypal if you live in the UK and book with Sara White (approx £150) For English dancers... For dancers from the UK it's possible too book hotel nearby with Sara White: Hotel costs for 2 nights (based on 2 people sharing) Approx £120 pp or approx £125pp (depending on which size of room you book) Rooms to be paid for on arrival. Don't forget that conversion rates at the time will possibly make a slight difference to the price. Obviously there will be a need to role balance this event, so early booking is essential. A £50 nonrefundable deposit will secure your booking. Travel After looking at the flights available, we have decided to travel to Copenhagen airport this time, and then we'll arrange a transfer from there to Vaxjo. At present, return flights are approximately £100 (the cost of minibus transfer will be finalised nearer the time) Of course, you can choose other routes of travel and still attend for the weekend.
